Anton Martiniussen appointed to APEA Organisation
In November 2016, Anton Martiniussen of Elaflex has been elected Chairman of the APEA (Association for Petroleum and Explosives Administration) at the associations AGM. The APEA Live event brings together the AGM with an industry exhibition, conference and gala awards dinner and was held in the city of Milton Keynes.
He is the MD of Elaflex Ltd, based in Hoddesdon Herts, with responsibility for the UK and the Republic of Ireland and has been with Elaflex since 1987. His work experiences includes extensive business knowledge, international markets, industrial consumables and distributor development. Anton Martiniussen is active in many aspects of the petroleum, petrochemical, LPG and Pharma equipment industries as well as being involved with industrial groups and standards bodies. In the mid 2000's he was the FEF's UK's forecourt industry’s equipment group leader for Stage II vapour recovery. He has been a highly valued member of APEA for many years.
The APEA is a UK based organization, drawing membership from all quarters of the petroleum industry, including Regulators from National and Local Government Authorities, Oil Companies, Equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers, Service and Installation Organizations, Training Establishments and more. The APEA is unique in representing all sides of the forecourt industry and in providing a forum for debate and the generation of technical guidance. It aims to facilitate the interchange of information, ideas and good practices.
